The practice focuses on helping patients with the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases affecting the lungs, including pulmonary disease, pulmonary rehabilitation, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine.

Dr. Nguyen was fellowship-trained at Albany Medical College and has Board Certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, and Sleep Medicine. “Having Dr. Nguyen join our team is a tremendous addition for Saratoga Hospital,” said Richard Falivena, DO, MPH, vice president, chief medical and physician integration officer at Saratoga Hospital. “His knowledge and experience will help us offer pulmonary medicine services, as well as a new state-of-the-art sleep lab, that are second to none in our area.”

In addition, Saratoga Hospital has announced the opening of its new, advanced sleep center at 19 West Avenue. Dr. Nguyen will serve as director of the Saratoga Hospital Center for Sleep Disorders. The center includes eight, hotel-like rooms fully equipped with all the latest technology to help patients suffering from a range of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and narcolepsy.

“It’s exciting for me to be part of a team providing truly comprehensive care, in an environment patients find comforting and inviting,” said Dr. Nguyen. “Our practice and our new sleep lab have elevated the level of care we can provide to our community. Particularly with our new sleep center, the impact of sleep disorders on an individual’s health and quality of life is too often under-estimated. We want to change that.”
