James Rivers is a courier in our Supply Chain/Courier Services Department. He picks up and delivers specimens, supplies, medications, mail, and other items. Saratoga Hospital and our Saratoga Hospital Medical Group members rely on Jim to provide swift and efficient courier services, especially when patient results are needed quickly. He travels extensively around the area on behalf of the hospital, from Wilton to Glenville and everywhere in between.

Jim has been with the hospital for more than 10 years. He enjoys meeting people and has built some great relationships with the people in the on- and off-site locations he visits.

“We are like a big family here at Saratoga Hospital, all caring for each other,” Jim says. “And, of course, I love the events! The hospital picnic and Christmas party are always great, and my wife and I enjoy volunteering at The Gala every summer.”
 
Jim’s family is his pride and joy. His son was recently married, and his daughter was married last year. Jim and his wife spend as much time with their twin 5-year-old grandsons as possible. They vacation in Rhode Island every summer and gather for a huge Christmas party each year. Jim is one of many compassionate, skilled professionals here at Saratoga Hospital.
