Baby Girl, Amara, First Born in 2020 at Saratoga Hospital 

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY, January 3, 2020 - Cassy Guilder and Randy DeCook of Johnsburg, NY, welcomed their first child, Amara Rose DeCook, on the first day of the new year, the first baby born in 2020 at Saratoga Hospital. 

Amara – 5 pounds, 5.8 ounces and 18 inches long – arrived at 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday, January 1. She was delivered by Dr. Amy Knoeller, who also delivered Amara’s uncles 11 years ago, the Grant twins, who are Guilder’s brothers. 
 
Congratulations to the new parents, grandmothers Debbie Grant and Nikki Mondat, and to the entire family.
