Dr. Humaira Jami Joins Saratoga Hospital Inpatient Medicine Team
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y., Nov. 9, 2020—Dr. Humaira Jami has joined Saratoga Hospital Medical Group – Inpatient Medicine, a team of 30+ medical professionals who provide 24/7 care for patients during their hospital stay.
As an inpatient medicine physician, or hospitalist, Jami focuses exclusively on hospitalized patients, overseeing all aspects of their care and working closely with specialists to diagnose and treat an array of diseases and conditions.
“We have built an inpatient medicine practice that combines exceptional diagnostic skills, an unwavering commitment to quality, and sensitivity to the concerns of seriously ill patients and their families,” said Dr. J. Robert Hayes Jr., chief of inpatient medicine at Saratoga Hospital. “Dr. Jami is an excellent fit and wonderful addition to this team.”
Jami comes to Saratoga Hospital from North Shore Medical Center in Salem, Massachusetts. She earned her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C., and completed an internship and residency at the University of California San Diego Medical Center.
Jami is board certified in internal medicine. She chose Saratoga Hospital for its “core values and interdisciplinary, collaborative approach.”
