New Saratoga Hospital Cardiology Brings Extensive Expertise in Women's Heart Health
Dr. Disha Mookherjee is latest to join growing cardiology team
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY, November 11, 2019 — Dr. Disha Mookherjee, a fellowship-trained cardiologist with extensive expertise in women’s heart health, has joined Saratoga Hospital Medical Group – Cardiology.
Mookherjee comes to Saratoga Hospital from St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota, where she was the founding director of the Women’s Heart Clinic. She also served as director of St. Luke’s cardiac rehabilitation program and echocardiography lab.

A fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Mookherjee earned a medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx and a cardiology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
Mookherjee is board certified in cardiovascular disease with subspecialty certifications in nuclear cardiology and adult echocardiography. She has a special interest in preventive cardiology, heart disease in women, meditation, navigating grief and the role of integrative medicine in healing the whole heart.
