Newly Renovated Facility Dedicated to Stephen S. Sgambati, Sr., MD
PHOTO CAPTION: On Monday, April 30, Saratoga Hospital hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the reopening of the primary care office at 202 S. Central Avenue in Mechanicville, now the Saratoga Hospital Medical Group Primary Care – Mechanicville practice. The facility, which underwent nearly one million dollars in renovations, has been renamed The Stephen S. Sgambati, Sr., MD, Medical Center, named in honor of the family patriarch and local family practitioner who founded the original practice in 1954. Dr. Sgambati’s two sons, Drs. Stephen Sgambati, Jr., and Carl Sgambati, along with Drs. Carrie McNeil and Lauris Petersen and staff are now seeing patients at the practice.
