Connecting Your Health Information to Healthcare Apps

Using your Health App on Your Smart Device to Access Your Saratoga Hospital Medical Information 

Saratoga Hospital is committed to providing you the tools you need to manage your health.

If you have a health app on your smart device (phone or tablet), depending upon which health app you are using, you may be able to connect to your Saratoga Hospital medical information and access your information on your smart device.

Please note: In order to connect to a compatible health app, you will need to have a valid email address associated with an active Google account. If you do not already have a Google account, you will need to create one.

To submit a request for connection to a health app:

  1. Connection to your Saratoga Hospital medical information is not necessarily automatically compatible on all health apps. Click here to provide us with information about the app you with to use. Or you can call our Healthcare Access Help Line at 518-886-7999.
  2. Your request will be submitted to our Information System team. We will contact your health app developer to see if your app and our system are compatible. 
  3. Please be patient while our team and the app developer work together; we will be sure to contact you with updates regarding your request
  4. Once we have confirmed compatibility, we will walk you through the process of using your health app to connect to you medical information at Saratoga Hospital.

  • What if I don't want to share my information with a health app?
    • You can continue to use our Hixny Patient Portal without sharing your healthcare information
  • Is my health data protected if I share my information with other apps?
    • Your health data that you choose to share with a compatible health app may no longer be subject to federal laws and regulations that apply to an individual's protected health information
    • Sharing your health information with a health app may become subject to further disclosure. By proceeding, it will allow the application access to your health information with difference policies than Saratoga Hospital and Hixny.
