Our New Collaborative Approach to Pregnancy Care

The providers at Saratoga OB/GYN at Myrtle Street have joined the providers at Saratoga Hospital Medical Group Midwifery and Women’s Health Services to create a new, dynamic pregnancy care model at Saratoga Hospital. If you are an expecting mom or are planning on becoming a mom, you can choose which practice will be your primary provider for prenatal care.

All Moms Delivering at Saratoga Hospital Have Access To:

  •  24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week anesthesia coverage
  • Use of nitrous oxide for pain management, if desired
  • Our birthing tub for labor pain relief
  • Neonatal care support throughout your stay at Saratoga Hospital

At Saratoga Hospital, our certified nurse midwives (CNMs) are registered nurses who have earned a graduate degree in midwifery or midwifery education, plus certification from the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Midwifery focuses on the understanding that pregnancy and delivery are natural processes, and that through patient education and patient-centered care, optimal health outcomes can be achieved.
